Vaccination

Vaccines for puppies, kittens and adult dogs and cats, after a health check. In Vietnam, rabies vaccination is required by law for every dog and cat.

Vaccination at ASVELIS

Before each vaccination the veterinarian examines your pet, then tells you which vaccines it needs and when.

Vietnamese law requires rabies vaccination for dogs and cats; the main campaign runs every year in March and April.

Travelling abroad? Rabies vaccines and blood tests follow the destination’s rules: see Moving to or from Vietnam with your pet.

What to expect

  1. Before you come

Bring any record of your pet’s past vaccinations, including one from a breeder, a shelter or abroad.

  2. A health check first

The veterinarian examines your pet before vaccinating.

  3. The vaccination and its record

The veterinarian records each vaccination in your pet’s booklet, and gives a certificate when one is needed, for example for rabies or travel.

  4. The next date

The veterinarian tells you when the next dose is due, and the clinic reminds you by message or Zalo.
