Spay & neuter at ASVELIS

Whether and when to neuter depends on your pet. At a first consultation, the veterinarian examines your pet, and you decide together.

What to expect

  1. Before the operation

For most neuterings, the clinic carries out a health check; blood tests or X-rays may also be needed. When booking, the clinic gives you your pet’s food, water and medication instructions.

  2. The day of the operation

Your pet comes to the clinic for the operation. We explain what happens afterwards and when your pet may be ready to go home.

  3. Follow-up

We’ll tell you when to bring your pet back for a check and, if there are stitches, to have them removed.
