Parasite prevention at ASVELIS

The veterinarian checks your pet for fleas and ticks and asks how it lives: indoors or out, with other animals, with young children at home. They then recommend the protection that suits it and how often to use it, with products from the clinic’s own pharmacy.

What to expect

  1. Before you come

If you can, bring a fresh sample of your pet’s stool.

  2. The examination

The veterinarian checks your pet’s coat and skin for fleas and ticks.

  3. Tests when needed

At the clinic: a stool test for worm eggs, and quick tests for heartworm and for diseases carried by ticks.

  4. The plan and the next dose

The veterinarian explains which product to use and how often, and the clinic reminds you by message or Zalo when the next dose is due.
